A couple ways. Use Plugin Alliance Installation/Uninstallation manager. Or use your OS's native add/remove programs/Application via Finder. If there isn't an entry for it simply trash the relevant dll and vst3 files and PDF manuals.

I'm on windows 10. Didn't see a way to uninstall in the manager. Maybe I missed something obvious. I have tons of purchased PA Plugins and have never noticed an uninstall section. Will take a look later. Thanks!

I've been waiting for this sale... pads sound absolutely glorious and you can make screaming leads with the osc sync and FM. I have a feeling this will be in all my tracks over the next few months (at the very least).

It sounds really good - right up there with the best softsynths on the market. But the preset bug sucked. I only ever used the synth preset menu in the trial version and it never worked when re-loading the track the next day (etc.). I was considering spending $150+ on it. But I don't trust PluginAlliance to respond in a timely and considerate manner. They've gone off the rails IMHO, and I don't plan to purchase more from them. I'd rather spend more for a different emulation to come (e.g., Synapse).Aloysius wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 9:04 pm I was watching a video and the reviewer mentioned that you should do all your preset handling via the preset menu in the synth. Otherwise it won't work. That part at least is not a bug as such. I don't know if there were actual preset management issues.
Not gonna buy. It sounds ok but not earth shattering imho.

How do I uninstall my Plugin Alliance plugins on Windows?
If you want to uninstall any of our plugins, go to one or all of these directory locations on your desktop:
C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins
Then, in each folder, find the plugin that you want to uninstall, and move it to the Trash.
Note that if you are using a custom VST folder, you will need to also trash the plugin files from that location as well.

there is no uninstall for pa that i know of, same as gforce. you rip it out the hard way. pull up spotlight (or what ever it is windows calls it) and start deleting. good chance there will be an orphan here or there, but it will be as minimal as any uninstall striptease if you are thorough. and yes, it sounds glorious. repro, the legend, and this are tear jerking to an old fart.

OK, in case anyone cares... I bought it and I used it yesterday in a new track. Spectacular sound, instant retro 70s feeling, it has its own sound signature. If you're looking for emulated vintage stuff and you want something besides the usual suspects: Repro, Legend, Monark, etc, this one is a very good choice.

OK, tested using Ableton's Utility plugin for full mono image. I just tested a couple presets, but so far it downgrades beautifully to mono: no phase cancellation, no volume issues, no nothing. It just sounds almost the same, even if the sound relies on included FX for chorus.
The more I use it, the more impressed I am by this. I'm not a big fan of Brainworx, but this one is truly amazing.
EDIT: Actually the synth can be heard here. After the 0:25 mark, every main instrument is Oberhausen. There are other things at the same time as well, but all the heavy lifting is being done by Oberhausen. Sound is raw, unmastered, directly from DAW.

I highly recommend locking effects off (turn off effects and then right-click to choose Lock). Then take another tour of the presets to find some raw gems - like a whole new set of presets. This really shows off the beautiful analog sounds of this. Many of the presets lose their vintage vibe with all the Air Band, reverb, etc.
