Yes, I would like to have this preset by default. Every time I load a new instance of the synth, it's the "Reverse Box" patch...
Sorry if this question is something you already considered but does your DAW allow you to save a new "default" patch? At this point, Studio One, Cubase, and Reaper all offer this option. Not sure which DAWs don't.

Oops, I do that all the time, but totally forgot to suggest. Good point indeed, thanks. I am using FL Studio and I can easily do it, as well. :tu:

In Serum it is very easy to assign a random LFO to a note on message; it's literally two clicks. I'm trying to achieve something similar in Pigments but the sheer number of options is melting my brain.

I'm thinking Random 1 should be set to S&H but then immediately I'm stuck because there are Source and Trigger options. Should these be set to Keyboard?

In the meantime I guess I'll read the manual

Essentially I want note on (regardless of if it's a 16th or a 1/4 note) to trigger a random pitch.

"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

You could set an random S&H , noise input, trigger by poly keys.
Or just take the analog osc and add some drift .

They released a free EMT 140 Reverb today, so their servers are probably getting hammered right now :borg:

I think it remembers the last preset you loaded when in standalone mode only. In VST mode, it does seem to always load with Synthwave Reverses. I don't think there is an option to change that, but I find it I will let you know.

As a side comment, Synthwave Reverses is what sold me on Pigments. Probably my favourite preset, Reverse Box from Pigments 2 being the second favourite. :)
I believe Synthwave Reverses is the default patch for Pigments 1, but Pigments 2 now defaults to Reverse Box.

I don't know why they changed that, but either is fine with me, since I was able to create tunes inspired by those to presets when I first loaded the plug-ins. ;)

How Arturia listens to user requests? Are they willing at all?

Post

Their website is currently down, I just demoed Pigments 2 and was quite impressed but couldn't buy a license.

Post

I think their website is a little overloaded because everyone's trying to get the free reverb plugin.
