Ahh yes. Thanks for the heads up,I missed these.
I noticed Steve Roach reviewed Tangerine Dream, he was not pleased with their live sound. Man -
Roach has
great concerts himself now. I remember when TD played San Francisco in the 70s and the sound system was mostly taxi and police calls or something, it sucked but the live recording via the board was good.
Then I saw Alex Cima was in the classic LEM "Machines" album advert and on the next page he reviewed Tangerine
Dream's soundtrack for the movie Sorceror!
Producer Friedkin was quoted as saying he would have hired TD for the Exorcist but instead he went with Mike Oldfield of Tubular bells fame, in case anyone wondered!
Er, I still have LEMs machine LP in my collection... This magazine was back in the day!
