Hey there.
I have made some instruments by myself in Logic a while back and have always used them in Garageband as well.
They have been in these folders:
(exs instruments with accompanying .patch )
EXS (.exs):
system-volume / Library / Application Support / Logic / My Own Folder / instrument.exs
Patches (.patch) (made in Logic, used in GB, at least in Yosemite):
system-volume / Library / Application Support / Logic / Patches
After installing a new system on another drive, using macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 and Garageband v10.1.6, I cannot see my instruments anymore. They do not show up in Garageband.
Where in the SYSTEM FOLDER (library / application support) does my .patch files need to reside for the smart control and instrument to show up in GB??
Note 1: My earlier version that I used to make these patches with was Logic Pro X version 10.0.6, to be able to use all versions. It worked on all OS:es and logic versions up to macOS Yosemite and Logic 10.2, afaik. :/
Note 2: I am aware of that you normally make patches which auto-save into the User-folder/Music/Audio Music Apps/ folder. But these were made in the system library folder, which worked fine till... see Note 1.
Thanks for any help.
