You should download the demo. I’m using the demo right now and seems stable to me. Granular is very flexible. I especially like the multisample round robin trick I mentioned earlier. I’m trying to see if there is a way to do a multi-granular thing like how Halion and falcon do it. I mean there isn’t that by name but maybe some kind of offset of unison voices could be modulated? Not sure yet.Ah_Dziz wrote: Sat Dec 21, 2019 11:52 pm How’s the stability and the performance? Also how flexible is the granular engine?

I think it's a bit more processor-hungry than the previous version, especially when dealing with "granular" patches (as you might imagine). But since it replaces the previous version, it's difficult now to make a direct comparison.Ah_Dziz wrote: Sat Dec 21, 2019 11:52 pm How’s the stability and the performance? But the sounds are very good, and within just a minute of noddling around with the default preset, I was able to come up with something. So, if you already have Pigments, it's a bit of a no-brainer.

Yeah I would like to see that too, with per-lane modulator assignment, and options to have modulated movement quantized to clock or free.c_voltage wrote: Sat Dec 21, 2019 8:26 pm The only thing (that i already saw in thread from some user) really would be cool to add interaction between modulators and sequencer playback - not only time, but exactly play position (it's supposed to add a knob of the current position).

Downloaded it a bit earlier. Just haven’t been back to the machine to give it a go. Sounds like lots of fun though. I was slightly tempted by the v1, but all this new granular bidniz has got me pretty hyped up for it. It would take some serious issues for me to not own this by the end of tomorrow.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Sun Dec 22, 2019 1:04 amYou should download the demo. Yes (although, in the same time need note (need give tribute to the authors) at least modulation of Time in seq - it's already some going beyond the ordinary. Valuable moment)Ficciones wrote: Sun Dec 22, 2019 2:38 amYeah I would like to see that too, with per-lane modulator assignment, and options to have modulated movement quantized to clock or free.c_voltage wrote: Sat Dec 21, 2019 8:26 pm The only thing (that i already saw in thread from some user) really would be cool to add interaction between modulators and sequencer playback - not only time, but exactly play position (it's supposed to add a knob of the current position).

...long time no post...haha..buried in sound design?..
...out of interest...Is keylab mk2 one the best controllers 4 the synth?..I tried panorama 6 but the mapping is poor...can't use midi assign option...the dials are not responding...
looks like some are pre mapped and v limited...I guess nks will be available at some point...so the NI S series may be the best match.....I think Arturia gear will cover the synth well too...as ..surely we will see more sound engines in the future..2020 will be exciting...

I’m buying it. Not bad at all for 69 bucks. It’s like what I wanted the new synth squad synths to be, plus wavetable and granular synthesis on top of it.

The least I care about is internal reverb... Its only there to sell it by presets. As user I have plenty of other choices...

I already own Pigments 2, but I was wondering the same. I got the free reverb (even have V Collection 7) and it still shows $99 for me. Curious!

I just logged into my account and it showed $69.
In my account I have the Mini V, Mini Filter and plate - ie. all the free giveaways.
Maybe you need more of the giveaways(?) than just the plate?
Either way, this will be my purchase of the season!

I guess that to be the case. Still strange though.nathanj wrote: Mon Dec 23, 2019 9:43 am I just logged into my account and it showed $69.
