thanks for the tip, but I already checked that one out.

it plays folders (like you drag a folder and it plays all of it), and no more features. (not even song info). that's not waht I m looking for...

looking for something like itunes, but on the left instead of having playlists, having a folder explorer, and when I click on a folder, I automatically have the songs shown up on the right (alphabetically or whatever I want). like 1by1 on PC.

Why don't you like playlists?

I dont dislike them, but in my case.. Ok, my folders are organized by albums, and I have too many albums to put on my hardrive. I often have to move albums. with a folder explorer you just navigate and thats it, with playlists you have to be constantly updating them to know what is in your hardrive at the time. It sucks.

I think a folder explorer should come before playlists.. I dont know, seems like a really basic feature in an mp3 player to me :|

We are leaving the times when we had a hundred of mp3 files on the computer. We are entering an era where all our music is backed up on hardisks. Thousands of songs. We need clever interfaces to handle them. playlists should be a second priority feature.. dont you think?

with Audion, you can drop your mp3 folder and in 20 sec it creates all the folders structures in a huge playlist...

there are also "linked playlists" that automatically updates the new files you add :

If you find yourself spending as much time organizing your MP3s in the Finder as you do in Audion's playlists, then you may want to consider creating a linked playlist.

A linked playlist will automatically mirror a folder in the Finder. For example, if you have a MP3s folder on your hard-drive and you download some new files into it, when you open up Audion and a linked playlist, it can automatically rebuild itself and add the files you added. Linked playlists will track any additions or deletions to your folder
