The 90 days renewal is for safety (I think) even if I don't understand it. Anyway I am waiting for a dongle that I purchased and I hope I don't have to renew every 90 days the licence on it. I really hope that it works out with the Dongle or else I waisted 65 euros.
I have it on a MAAT dongle and yes, you still need to renew it every 90 days.
I don't see what's the point of a dongle then. But that doesn't seem to be the overall case, right? Only with this Vengeance product.
You are not forced to use a Dongle. In my case because i use more then 3 computers i need the Dongle so i can move the licence. One more reason is because my workstations are accessible for more people i will keep my production stuff as secure as possible.
The renewal think is a small problem for me.
Dongle would have been the only solution to use this software offline.

Thank you for confirming that the MAAT Dongle works, i was worry about it.
I don't really care that i have to renew the licence but it would be nice to avoid it.
So what left is to receive the Dongle.
Thank you!!!
Any current Wibu Dongle works. I also have Reason on the MAAT dongle because the MAAT dongle is much smaller. And you should also be able to put everything on a Reason Ignition key if you have that.

The nice thing about the MAAT dongle is that MAAT gives you a voucher for the price of the dongle. So, if you were thinking of buying one of the MAAT plugins (the meters are actually very nice), the dongle is essentially free.

Just be aware that the MAAT dongle is USB 2.0. There are quite a few USB-C hubs and cables that are picky with the direction you plug the USB-C connector in. If you have the MAAT dongle on a USB-C hub and you computer does not see the MAAT dongle, you need to turn the USB-C plug 180 degrees. Even though the plug is reversible it is not uncommon that hubs or cables support USB 2.0 in only one of the two directions. I needed to label everything so that I don't accidentally plug it in the wrong way.

Neither Reason nor MAAT nor Antares show expiry dates for perpetual licenses and I am not aware of any other audio software developer using the Wibu system. Vengeance are the only ones doing it that way.

The truth right there. Also, it’s interesting how this has become a thread where the 0,1% of customers experiencing problems ask questions that can only be answered by contacting support :dog:

Don't know where you got your numbers from, seems fictional  Anyways people in here also said they contacted support and just don't get useful answers or any answer at all. Many of the questions could also been answered easily by including them into an FAQ. But I guess that would mean that the devs themself need to know the answers first.

Well, now that the emperor has made his official pronouncement that I shouldn't care that Vengeance instituted CodeMeter after selling me a product marketed as using a keyfile (a distinction that I specifically relied upon), I guess that settles that.

Just out of curiosity, please send me a list of what I am and am now allowed to be upset about going forward. I wouldn't want to have any other overblown opinions.

Oh, and I assume you'll be refunding the $305 I wasted on Avenger and expansions? Vengeance refuses to, but since you're actually telling me not to care, I assume you'll make it right for me.

It's just that we have hundreds of pages of people repeating the same thing over and over again.

We got it about your 305$...

I doubt that only a handful of people have had something to say in these hundreds of pages. If anything, I would argue that no satisfying answer has been given.
By the way, this shitfest wouldn't happen in an official forum with dedicated threads, instead of useful information (by customers, or Manuel) being buried by useless remarks.

Okay, so that is why their FB page is filled with post after post of ppl having problems. And there's threads on Gearslutz and other forums of ppl having problems and being angry. :ud:

And mind you : Most users didn't even update yet. Most don't even know that there is an update or that they changed CP. Thanx to some excellent communication. :dog:

Your Avenger and expansions still works fine if you install Codemeter. It's a minor inconvenience at worst. You are choosing to rage on and on about it for weeks instead of just accepting reality, moving on, and enjoying the awesome software you already own.

Hi, guys. Just wanted to buy a couple Avenger expansions, using 50% xmas discount. But I could not - where is no place to put XMAS50 code anywhere. I did everything - inserted 2 expansions, inserted my name and address - still 110 pounds (I am from UK). Where is that discount code field suppose to be?

You might need to buy one at a time. The coupon field is right above the "continue shopping" button in the cart.
