I'm a fan of version 1 interface myself. Either way, the sound is totally there.

with 'original gui' do you mean ElectraX v1.0 (white), ElectraX v1.4 (blue displays) or Electra2 ?

This skin has always been my favourite also. Not a fan at all of the latest one. But skin is not what matters the most.
But if you ask : yes, THIS was perfect imo.

That was one of my favorites also. I would love it if we could have that one back in Electra2.DJErmac wrote: Tue Dec 24, 2019 2:05 pm This skin has always been my favourite also. Not a fan at all of the latest one. But skin is not what matters the most.

There was an alternate white skin for Saurus that was pretty cool also.

I forgot I had some of the soundsets for ElectraX stashed away, so I just reinstalled them as they work with Electra2 as well.

Did Rayblaster have one also? I can't use mine, because I was a moron and only backed up the 32bit version, and the 64bit version of Rayblaster 1 is not available on the sight. To date, it's one of my biggest "software backup" debacles of all time.Examigan wrote: Tue Dec 24, 2019 2:19 pm There was an alternate white skin for Saurus that was pretty cool also.

Right the GUI is great, the skins are awesome, but again, this synth can layer 4 complete patches, I don't think many people at least ones that I've worked with personally in my studio, are even aware of it, let alone online. What youtube video's have you seen on this multi-timbral ability? None.. this feature was added in an update.
When they do finally see it,they seem to be shocked to know that Electrax can actually load 4 full patches, not just some layers.
Great to hear Markus !! This has been a dream of mine for you to update electrax, but with so many important synths you've created, I can understand the delay.

This is dope. I didn't know that myself. Does it load the full patch, even if it has many layers?
Not sure what is happening, but it doesn't sound like it.

There may be some limitations with poly, I'm not sure of the complete technical aspects, perhaps Markus can define what's going on under the hood, but for the most part, it seems like so.
