Hi Guys,

I download it and play the standalone version last night. This synth sounds super fat and warm & can make big sound if you can spend a little more time to know more about her. But point is it is still 32bit and I dont want to buy j-bridge just because of this one VST though D-Phasewave and T-FM1 are all as good as B3. Anyone can tell me any other VST running 64bit with similar features/sound characteristics ? Appreciate to you guys if you can give me some opinions.

Thanks!
Cowby

Googling Bruno 3D VST did not reveal any useful information. Never assume everybody knows what you are talking about...
If you downloaded last night, the link must be still in your history...

Hi

Merry Xmas all.

Possibly meant this:

Super Bruno 3!!!

I have amended my title. As I just use the .exe file name as the VST name. Sorry about the confusion.

I just downloaded the demo and it has a standalone version that runs on my 64-bit PC.

It also runs in the free Cakewalk by Bandlab as it can host 32-bit plugins.

The wrapper of your daw maybe?

Post

I edited my original post as it probably just uses a wrapper of it's own that can host 32-bit plugins. Not sure though. It does work in the 32-bit version Tone2's Nanohost, I just tried it.

Post

Well it's running standalone, right? So it doesn't need a wrapper other than the one built into Windows that lets you run other 32bit applications.

Have you tried ANA 2?

Thanks and I'll will try the demo later. But believe it or not, I tried to compare Preadator 2 this afternoon. This is from Exp5 and I am not using it quite often. So by messing around the preset, I couldn't see the common characteristics (in terms of sounds not features and workflow) found in B3. However, when I loaded up B.I.T (this is also an overlooked little bad boy) and play around 1x presets. Ah yeah.... Similar to B3. I need to deep dive into this bad boy in the X'mas holiday.

Man, so glad I saw this thread! I just bought a bunch of TubeOhm stuff on sale after investigating it, old or not. They are all playing great in Reaper, very nice sounds in all of them. So, thanks to the original poster of this thread. Pleasant surprise.

Even their very old Alpha-Ray (only €6 to unlock it) is a must have !

Me too on Alpha-Ray. Totally worth it to unlock the effects config.

TubeOhm has done some great stuff!

I don't know if there is anything out there quite like his experimental Grain.
