Why you didn't use the $149 upgrade for Special Bundle owners?raymondwave wrote: Thu Dec 26, 2019 6:42 pm PAK, did you have special bundle already?
I tried the $199 upgrade (legacy to v2) and my code worked for it even tho I have special bundle. I think I’ll wait some time and if it’s not sorted I’ll contact support. I’d guess they’ve figured out there is a prob already.

Why you would use a code for the upgrade from Special to v2 when nobody asked for? The code is for Legacy owners only ($199 upgrade).raymondwave wrote: Thu Dec 26, 2019 6:11 pm It does indeed seem like the code is only for confirming you have the product to upgrade, but the code is not accepted for special bundle to v2. So not possible to upgrade at the moment..
The little I tried I felt familiar with the sounds and owning Triton rack the operating of plugin is easier naturally.
Hope the code thing is sorted quickly. I don’t think I can skip this.
EDIT: Now i see what you mean. At checkout they ask for a code even for Special owners.

Go to the Triton demo page. Download the "Korg Software Pass" file. Try logging in with that software using your Korg ID. Does it show you own special bundle?raymondwave wrote: Thu Dec 26, 2019 6:42 pm did you have special bundle already?

It's a small chance, but it's also possible you're using the old Legacy Collection, and didn't register anything from the Special Bundle (Arp etc). If that's the case it will not recognize that you own the product until you install and register something from the bundle.

Yeah code is needed for all upgrades to make sure you have what you are upgrading from.mladi wrote: Thu Dec 26, 2019 6:51 pmWhy you would use a code for the upgrade from Special to v2 when nobody asked for? The code is for Legacy owners only ($199 upgrade).

I need to try what PAK suggests and see if i haven’t registered special bundle or so.

I have uninstalled all my Korg softwarePAK wrote: Thu Dec 26, 2019 7:12 pm Go to the Triton demo page. Download the "Korg Software Pass" file. Try logging in with that software using your Korg ID. Does it show you own special bundle?
I have installed the Korg Software Pass.
I have installed all my Korg Software.
Korg software pass says I have the "legacy bundle" registered and the "Special bundle upgrade for Legacy bundle" registered.
I log into my account. Look at my registered products. Copy the code. Click "Get Triton". Add the code. Apply it and it says "This coupon code cannot be used for this item. "
So either the code doesn't work, or by clicking the "Get Triton" button it applies the discount and the price is $149.
It is just confusing.
I have not had an email saying the product has been released, I only heard about it from this forum.

All clicking "Get Triton" does is direct you to the correctly priced product upgrade page ($149 If you own Special Bundle, $199 it it's the non-Arp KLC). It does nothing else.rollasoc wrote: Thu Dec 26, 2019 9:43 pmI log into my account. Look at my registered products. Copy the code. Click "Get Triton". Add the code. Once that's done you need to add to cart, and go to the cart and apply the coupon code you got from the yellow area of your registered products page. The coupon isn't a discount code, it's a code which confirms ownership of the product you want to upgrade from.
If it doesn't work wipe the cart and try again making sure its the full code and no spaces etc. If it still doesn't work then look out your Special Bundle purchase info and email them it with the code you can't get to work. If they confirm the issue is on their end then post and let us know..

They responded to me three hours ago in a way that to me, it seems that indeed they have been getting emails about it.
They say they are working on it.

Hate to sound cynical, but they send canned responses for a lot of customer support issues...
Hopefully this is an exception and they are addressing the issue.

f**k. Seriously? After I swore I wasn't getting anything in 2020?
My favorite rack mount of all time and what I used on almost 100% of my songs when I had my hardware studio.
Well, it's still 2019 so I guess if I get it now, I'm good for 2020.
I never in a million years thought they'd ever release this as a VST.

I think they did a beautiful job with this. The GUI looks wonderful and it’s scalable! Never having played a Triton (my last Korg was my trusty M1), I’m kind of surprised how good much of it sounds. I really don’t need this, but I kind of want to buy it just to encourage Korg to keep going with plugins...
