only bummer that it can’t be used as insert / send effect on a track. I really like triton’s st.chorus, enhancer - exciter effects.
(Korg MDE-X vst doesn’t have all the effects of Korg triton unfortunately)

I submitted a ticket because I purchased Triton last night, but I haven't received my download code email. I have also not received a response to my ticket. I noticed that they will be closed from tomorrow until 1/6. I am quite sure after waiting 9 days to simply download and install my $200 product, I will not be in a good mood.

Must be Tuna season near where the tech support are located
But Tuna are very cool and tasty, and might sell well by the pound.
...customers...well, don't be
pretty sure they closed like that
in the last few years, also.

It was a strange time to release a brand new flagship synth...that said, the demo is generous and I have enjoyed playing with it over the holidays.oxygenmask wrote: Sat Dec 28, 2019 5:27 am I submitted a ticket because I purchased Triton last night, but I haven't received my download code email. It's more for you: $199 for KLC owners and $149 for Special Bundle owners (means you already paid the $49.99 for the upgrade to get Odyssey in the past).wagtunes wrote: Sat Dec 28, 2019 2:25 am The original KLC cost me $100 (MS 20, Poly, M1, Wavestation)
So $149 for, what for me would be the Odyssey and Triton, is a little steep.

Nope... Doesn't work for me. I am using Cubase 10.5 in Windows. I tried what you said, with Program Change before and after the CC messages (supposedly it should always come after not before, anyway). I even changed the values (exchanged CC 0 and CC 32 values) in case you made some mistake. Nothing worked. It always recall the program from Factory Bank A.SaganTech wrote: Sat Dec 28, 2019 2:17 amYes, so I tried this and apparently, from trial and error, I was able to determine that they do indeed work but the bank change assignments have been changed. Banks 0-3 are recalled using controller 0 = 0 and controller 32 = 0-3. The recall only happens after a program change, following standard MIDI protocols. This works in combi and program modes. It also looks the the extra content can be recalled starting at bank (ctrl 32) = 8.fmr wrote: Fri Dec 27, 2019 9:37 pmwhich means I should be able to use Bank and Program Change messages to call sounds.
Apparently, this isn't working. I can't find a way to get Triton to recognice CC 00 and/or CC 32 to change banks. No matter what I do, any Program Change recalls a sound from the first Bank. I downloaded the manual, and Triton Extreme was able to recognize Bank messages. Anyone knows what is the method to recall sounds via MIDI messages in this thing?

Where did you submitted the ticket? I want to report what seems to be a bug in the Windows version, regarding Bank and Program Changeoxygenmask wrote: Sat Dec 28, 2019 5:27 am I submitted a ticket because I purchased Triton last night, but I haven't received my download code email. I don't think so. Cubase works OK with everything else else. Bu I will try with other hosts, nevertheless.
EDIT: Tried in REAPER and in Digital Performer, and no luck. It doesn't answer to Bank controllers, only to Program Change messages, but that only recalls programs from Factory Bank A

Bank Select/Program Changes work fine over here in Reaper. MSB (CC #0) has to be 0, LSB (CC #32) is 0-3 for factory banks A-D, and 8-16 for EXBs. Tried both using ReaControlMIDI and entering MIDI events in piano roll manually.
EDIT: Also works just fine in Live, FL20, S1, Maschine.
Make sure that Enable Combi/Prog Change is checked (manual has things the other way around) under MIDI Filter section in Global, then Save As Default.

I can’t remember how it is with hardware, but with the plugin you can’t edit individual drum notes, but you can set the panning for all notes or according to drumkit preset. This is different and less than M1. For me it’s better as I mostly need to set pan to zero for bouncing hihats etc, no need to dig individual notes separately.
Slightly bummed by filter cutoff and resonance being one combined control, but luckily resonance can be automated separately, just needs to be dug up from menu.

And yes, I figured the manual has instructions wrong (and no explanation whatsoever about how to achieve program changes with MIDI)
