it's probably plural...

but in my music collection that foobar2000 randomly plays, this was the only band that reminded me of the Ramones.

Unbelievable. So what have you been doing with it since 2012 then, Harry?
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. Image

Do you mean just old school melodic punk, or some aspect of Ramones' sound?
Not so big on the genre but some Misfits might do the trick...

I was always a fan of little known The Passions. I thought they were Ramones-ish sounding.

Unbelievable. So what have you been doing with it since 2012 then, Harry?
well, once the xx-day trial expires, it's not legal to keep using it so...

1. i've been playing speed scrabble off and on
2. i've been collecting thousands of free vst plugins
3. i've been making really hasty and crappy test videos for the kvr developer challenge(s)
4. i've been using the podium free daw and also the reaper 0.999 free daw
5. in the summer of 2017, for two months or about 60 days (reaper's demo trial period),
i was checking out reaper 5.9x
when the trial period expired, i stopped checking out reaper... i got busy with other things
6. i am forever testing all sorts of song-making methods, i have a lot of remain-in-private failed songs
7. i spend lotsa time with windows xp and windows 7 problems
8. i tie up my computer(s) by having two artificial intelligence scrabble players play themselves
so far, the two AI acrabble players have played over one million games
soon, i will compile all the words played by the two AI scrabble players and try to memorize them words
9. when my computer(s) are-is tied up, they are tied up now, i kill time here at kvr and lurk at the reaper forums too
10. i've been listening to all sorts of music and all sorts of videos and tutorials
11. i watched lotsa black and white movies at the internet archive (no annoying ads there), film noir
12. i've ben checking out lyrics by reading and listening to them
13. i've been mowing the lawn and shovelling snow and other stuff, for reduced rent
14. i've been in jobs off and on, full-time jobs are a major life eater
15. i've been existing always around the poverty level
16. i've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
attack ships on fire off the shoulder of orion.
i watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the tannhäuser gate.
oh wait, that was someone else

learning a daw is forever continual, right? have you fully mastered your daw?

besides, i primarily used midi editors and not daws as much, in the past
i can do my song-making experiments in midi editors, like anvil studio and domino, etc
it's just that i want to learn the new reaper because of its scripts capabilities, scripts are powerful
also, although reaper is mostly designed for audio recording, it sure is fast with handling mass midi data
i don't really do the a or audio part of daw, i think muscle memory in my case... is bad for "composing"
superbusy, time is going by so fast.

and what have you other kvr creatures been doing since 2012?

okay my offline computer is not tied up anymore. tally ho. ciao.
