Ok, and also, it appears that now that I got the drivers installed, I'm able to select the ASIO Driver, and listen to sounds through my headphones, which are plugged into the Audio Interface (UMC204HD). Now I can hear buzzing in the headphones, I'm guessing that's because of the TS cables.sureno wrote: Sat Dec 28, 2019 9:26 pm my money is on poor/faulty interface or perhaps latest drivers/firmware need installing, im running 10.1 flawlessly although on OS X it shouldn't be strungling on such small channel count
I'll probably have to get TRS cables instead to get rid of this buzzing, probably.....
EDIT: Ok, so I turned off the Behringer Deepmind 12, and the buzzing remains. I wonder why, I have no idea now. (My headphones are plugged into the UMC204HD.)
EDIT 2: It is from the cables, I think...
Pressing / Activating Pad for the 2 input controllers lowers the volume of it.

What are your win 10 power settings power plan set to? Is it on balanced or high performance? If balanced, try high performance and see if that solves the issue.

Have you tried rebooting the computer?![]()
What do you mean by mains socket?

Unplugging the two TS Cables from the UMC204HD and plugging in and listening to my headphones into the UMC204HD, there isn't a buzzing sound. It's definitely the cables, since TS Cables cause buzzing / noise.thecontrolcentre wrote: Sat Dec 28, 2019 10:24 pm Disconnect the ts cables from your interface and see if the buzzing goes away. The wall socket you power your gear from. Its best to run everything from the same plug point (using a plugboard) to keep the noise floor down.

I know, I wasn't doubting you. I had looked it up and thought it was the cables before I even tried listening without them.thecontrolcentre wrote: Mon Dec 30, 2019 12:47 amTold youFox_GAMING_NTF wrote: Mon Dec 30, 2019 12:41 am It's definitely the cables, since TS Cables cause buzzing / noise.![]()

The only thing plugged into a power socket is the Behringer Deepmind 12. The UMC204HD is USB Powered. The Behringer Deepmind 12 is plugged into a Power Strip.thecontrolcentre wrote:The wall socket you power your gear from. You don't plug your computer and monitors in?Fox_GAMING_NTF wrote: Mon Dec 30, 2019 1:25 am The only thing plugged into a power socket is the Behringer Deepmind 12. The UMC204HD is USB Powered. The Behringer Deepmind 12 is plugged into a Power Strip.

I plug in my computer, obviously, I thought you meant just audio stuff.
Then again, I don't know where it's plugged in at, it's like spaghetti underneath this desk, lol.
I don't really have good monitors, I have these crappy amazon speakers, they don't have inputs, they just have, like, audio jacks, I think, and they're plugged into my computer.
Also, I chose ASIO instead of DirectX / MME, and selected FL Studio ASIO. It seems to be working pretty well for me so far, not really crackling. An occasional one pop, like every couple minutes I guess. Way better than like a couple minutes and then like a minute of gradually increasing constant pops and crackles at random points in time, lol.

When you started this thread you were sure that Ableton Live was causing your problem ... I hope you've taken the advice in this thread onboard. I suggest you buy (or make) some decent quality shielded audio cables to connect your expensive analog synthesizer to your computer interface.Fox_GAMING_NTF wrote: Mon Dec 30, 2019 1:39 am I don't know where it's plugged in at, it's like spaghetti underneath this desk, lol.
