Telling someone to get out of the way when you have them in a stranglehold doesn't seem to make a lot of sense.

I hate the word baby in 99% of cases. One of the few exceptions was Baby Come Back by Player.

I guess the problem with most lyrics is that people lack the wisdom and experience to write anything that makes sense and conveys a message.

Water simply can't be pinned down - its gaseous & liquid forms would flow around the pin, while said implement would either crack solid ice, or get bent in the process.

When water is abused it's typically through the actions of polluters who believe it's a commodity with a limitless supply.
So they're not focused on its strangeness.

Indeed Vurt - perhaps he didn't get anything nice for Christmas and felt he had to take his bitterness out on me

There's often someone who fails to understand the light-hearted tone of such a thread and instead comes in with unprovoked insults, pathetic emojis and sour sarcasm just because they like creating arguments for no good reason.
Can't say I know anything about AnX, but maybe he's always this bitter and negative at KVR?

Besides, it's easy to know what 2Unlimited were singing about simply by listening to that song or reading its lyrics: for example, it refers to mountains and valleys which both clearly have physical limits.
That seems to be beyond AnX's level of comprehension however?

Lyrics which irritate you because they're wrong, even though it's pedantic / obsessive to be annoyed by them
