My Phaseplant entry. Really great synth - thanks Kilohearts for the extended trial for this challenge

I couldn't resist attempting some modern-ish dnb with all those fx and wavetables onboard. I hope you like it!

(no layering - easy to do within a patch in this monster)
some adapted presets, lots from scratch (no samples, of course)
heavy use of internal fx.
Ableton EQ8 (about 30), compressors (about 15), multiband comressor (3), delay (1), limiter (1)
OTT (3), Wavefactory cassette (just a bit of flavour on the master), Loudmax

I enjoyed using this synth. It is much better than may meet the eye. The potential for weird sounds is very high with it and a lot of possibilities that most other synths don't have as easily. Thanks for letting me enter into this competition!

Weird synth, this Phase Plant, bit of a love/hate thing.

Nice architecture.
This synth makes AM with feedback amazingly easy to do, that's a rare thing.
Shame about the sub audio rate modulators, high notes can get quite dirty.
The generators themselves do sound nice and clean.
Polyphonic modulatable FX are a nice touch ( didn't any, though ).
Used lot of memory.

But, all said and done, I did have plenty of fun making music with it.

I spent a lot of time mucking about with patches, and never did really find the time and energy to really develop an actual composition. The result is kind of an incoherent mess, but I wanted to share something anyway. <shrug> I really enjoyed playing with the Resonator and SliceEQ snap-ins, especially.

1 Kilohearts Delay (reverb pre-delay)
1 Kilohearts Reverb (reverb bus)
1 Kilohearts Slice EQ (reverb filtering)

I used Kilohearts plugins for everything except master analysis. These snap-ins are nice (I believe I used every one somewhere except for Disperser and the Trance Gate) but they don't give much feedback and I wish that more of them had dry/wet controls.

In addition, I have exported all of the patches I made this month. If anyone would like them, just let me know and I can zip them up and upload them here.

Project in main job and family during XMas was too demanding. You sent some impressive tracks. I am going to watch this challenge and learn for one of the next rounds.
