That's entirely not true, you used ONLY synths in ALL tracks you've shared, I didn't even heard a non Sampled/synthesized instrument once.
you're using synths/samplers designed to emulate real instruments (which is why synths and samplers were originally created). you even used synths to sing many of your songs. not judging what's is better but there is a huge difference between using real instruments and synthesized ones (in human feel, timbre, playing with other ppl so each player is bringing his/hers own personality, unlimited sound layers,
much more flexible articulations, the way one plays guitar vs keyboard just to name a few) all of this will yield a completely different musical result but to read this coming from you was very funny, you're maybe the most definite example in this forum for synths/samplers takeover.

Before I got many new things in the last two years, which are still in the process of getting used, I mostly used Massive, Razor, FM8, Kontakt, Albino 3 and z3ta+ in all my music.

Now that I have a lot of new, awesome sounding tools and I am trying a new direction with my music, I am expecting to use Massive X, Pigments 2, instruments from V Collection 7, Output stuff, Diva, etc. going forward.

Post

I go through phases. The synth that I use the most changes all the time. If I look over the last 12 months, than Zebra 2 has been my, overall, most-used synth. I have also been using Iris 2, Falcon 2, Diva, and Heavyocity’s Ascend and Novo quite a bit lately.

Over the past 12 months, I think Hive. Ever since the 1.2 update it's been hard to put it down. It's very flexible and the workflow is so fast, that I naturally reach for it first. I use Serum quite a bit for bass and FM sounds and I had a 3 or so month period where I used Phase Plant quite a lot for audio rate modulation sound design and sequences, before I paused my sub.

FM8, easily.

So far 9 tracks with Dune 2, 9 tracks with Serum. All the key features, ease of use, sound quality and the presets are there.

Recently I'm digging Massive X, though it's new so obviously didn't use it that much yet. Also have all the Komplete synths to play with, will take forever to even try them all out.

Alchemy with daylight second...As it was before Apple bought it, so has it been since.

Wow! People have so many VSTi's. I have 10 but still using Alchemy 1.5 and Loomer Aspect the most. My recent addition Thorn is quickly becoming a fave :hihi:

+1

Often I use a synth abundantly after purchasing it, and then some months later this settles and I use other synths again. So I had big phases of Alchemy, SynthMaster, MPowerSynth and Harmor. Currently it's Zebra2.

Now that I have known a few more synths, I prefer certain ones for certain sounds. SynthMaster, MPowerSynth and Harmor for EDM stuff, Alchemy and Zebra for cinematic stuff and sound design.

Omni 2 by a long way, then the Repros. Avenger or Nexus fill most remaining gaps.

Most used (bread 'n butter) ...
Kontakt
Synthmaster One & 2.9
AAS modeling collection
Synth 1 (yessss)
The Mangle

Lately I've been using Arminator 2 (CS80 ... sort of), Vacuum Pro and Loom 2 quite a bit as well.
