What are your music-related new years resolutions/goals/commitments,if you have any?
I'll start with mine. Except for Zebra3 (I'm choosing to be optimistic here
), I will be making a commitment to not purchase a single plugin in 2020, now matter how "good a deal" it is and instead focus on finishing more of my tracks, with a view to getting one of them released

I don't have any new years resolutions, I've got a task list and do stuff every day.

play speed scrabble more regularly as opposed to months off and months on.
i noticed that when i stop playing speed scrabble for long periods of time... my memory gets worse.
i worry that i already have, or will get, alzheimer's disease because i read that insomnia might be a major cause of alzheimer's disease. and i've had insomnia since forever.
one minute i would be thinking "i have to google that", and just about a minute later, i can't remember what it was that i wanted to google.
i guess that if i can keep my memory from getting worse then that would be beneficial, as well, to my secondary passion which happens to be "try to be a songwriter".

I'm planning on trying to learn mixing techniques and improve to the point where I'm satisfied with the results.
Frequent guitar, bass and keyboard practise, including sight reading, improvisation in varies styles and genres.
Critical listening, also.
Increased productivity, less noodling, more completion.
No more plug-ins, I have more than I need. It's knowledge and experience that's required, there's no silver bullet plug-in.
Might try to learn Reaper, rather than upgrade Studio One come BF, need to watch some more tutorials.
(I'd still take EchoBoy Jr. for $9)

Going to see if I can survive on 5 hours of sleep. To counter that I'll need to exercise and drink more water but I really need the hours. Waaaay too much to do in the 17/18 hours that I currently have.
"I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms"
"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"
