Thanks :tu:
Until he answers.
I think $79 and February the 15th ish.

Thanks!

If that is the final price, it still represents great value.

Is the demo version available yet?

@realkuhl, you mention a Korg plugin here. Clearly I realise this video wasn't done today or yesterday, was it the Triton you were referring to?

And Directly related, does the Guru Sampler have an interface? and can we manipulate our own samples in it or is this part of what unify pro will be about?
thanks

It does :)

It took you longer to write this than actually search for the word "demo" in the thread. Do you have too much time on your hands? ;)

Oh, and no, no demo available yet, early February probably.

We'll do the work but decided to not delay the release of Unify while this work is being done. Shane was busy writing a plug-in scanner that doesn't crash Unify or your DAW and runs in the background instead of dealing with Apple to get properly notarized....

Will the Catalina version be released during the Intro period?
I'm on Catalina... :help:

Work is going super slow today 😔can't leave for another few hours to get home and install Unify.
What are your thoughts on it??? I've been dying to replace Nis Kore 2 with this since I heard of it. Tell me your thoughts 😊😊 I personally wanna build nice performances that I can gig with, including my mpc and turntable laptop, is it stable??

I watched the 15 minute demo preview and the demo presets sure sounded nice (I was gonna click 'buy' immediately after hearing the M1 preset patch - until alas was mentioned that was an external VST :( ). However this above comment definitely is nagging me: not sure what I can't do with Unify that Ableton's Instrument Racks + midi effects (inc max for live midi effects) can't already achieve....

One thing's for sure, you can't switch between DAWs bringing your sounds with you if you create them in Live's Instruments Racks. But on the other hand, you can't use the internal synths and effects from Live with Unify.

I'm not sure either how Live perform when stacking synths and effects. One of the upsides with Unify is that it's spreading the CPU load over multiple cores. That might not be the case on some (or any other?) DAW.

I have been thinking the same, do I need Unify? I'm not sure, becuase I already own Kore 2 from Native Instruments, P2000 from Wusik, Freestyle from New Sonic Arts, and Patcher from Image-Line is a free tool doing about the same. Still curious though, especially since John has mentioned upcoming (not which ones though) features.

What you at least get is 400 presets for $59, and if you buy a soundset with 400 presets, I guess you'll have to pay even more than $59 usually. I guess it's also coming down to workflow. If you have the tools mentioned above (there are some more that I'm aware of), which workflow works best for you?

I bought and installed Unify this morning.

I am crazy about this plugin (aggregator).

Firstly, out of the gate, with 400 presets you might expect a large number of throwaways, but not the case here. They are great and well tuned with attention to all details of sound development.

Scanned in over 400 plugins in my DAW (Sonar) with only a handful rejected … scanned in about 3 minutes. Now I can build patches mixing sounds from all my vsts. Some of John's patches look massive, but did not even make my PC pant.

Unify is deep and will take some time to learn to get its full effect, but its easy to use from the start. Can't wait to watch some of the videos being developed to get into the corners of this amazing plugin.

They really should put up some more info about this thing :
- What's the money-back and/or transfer policy ?
- Windows system requirements ?
- Vst2 or vst3 ?
- What plug-ins does or doesn't it work with ? (UAD, iLok, Waves ?)
- What daw's is it tested with/working with ?
- Can it read/write vst3 presets ?
- How does it handle resizing, skins and other stuff of user plug-ins ?

For now it looks to be the same as Bluecat's Patchwork, but with a different gui and less possibilities.
Curious to read user comments for it, as i'm certainly interested.

Not a decision, just a question of time. We'll have Catalina support just as soon as I can figure out the process.

el-bo (formerly ebow) wrote: Mon Jan 06, 2020 1:07 pm I have three questions:

1) Is it possible to remove certain (Or even all) of the library presets e.g for those that require software we don't own?

2) Is it possible to have a User presets stored both separately, and within the main library?

3) Is Catalina support on the horizon?

Thanks
1. NONE of the library presets require third-party plug-ins that aren't included. You can remove any patches you don't want.
2. Yes.
3. Yes.
