would not recommend downloading and installing the windows version of this. it just trashed my audio. hoping ripping them out and returning to the original will solve the issue.maniacoli wrote: Mon Dec 23, 2019 12:57 pm @electro : look here, i searched for them too ^^

it threw all my driver settings askew, i ripped it out and everything returned to normal... so it seems like its safe to try another reinstall. maybe it was just a one time computer glitch.

i just did a fresh install but only installed the vst2, and this time everything is working normally so it could be the usual vst3 issues. i don't have time to bug check rn tho.

Just installed Repro 1/5 after switching to a new iMac and being lazy for a bit - 1 drags when switching presets - long enough for a spinning beachball to appear for a second before it responds. Repro 5 seems to be the same as I remember it.
Did a reinstall, no change - have I just forgotten that 1 had a delay switching presets?

***Nope, couldn't work it out after all***
Could somebody kindly help me with Repro1 please. I've been playing with the synth and studying the manual for quite a while now and yet something rather basic is alluding me.
Essentially all I want to do it set up a S&H to Cutoff.
The conventional method would be to assign a S&H LFO as mod source and Cutoff as destination (ie, where in the attached screenshot it displays Velocity and None respectively).
In the absence of S&H as source I assume I select LFO but I'm stumped with the destination. Again I assume I select Cutoff but what to do with the S&H Trigger in the same Destination menu I've set that to the LFO rate but then the LFO is just a constant triangle as defined by the shape, ie there's no randomisation at all.
EDIT: I've since discovered the latest version which appears slightly different to the attached image but the functionality remains as described above, or so I believe.

Try this:
1. Set LFO to Square shape (so there's a high and low with motion to act as a good trigger)
2. Set the LFO speed to where you want
3. See in your screen print where it says "Velocity?" Change that to LFO (I suspect this is where you went wrong)
4. Select the S&H Trigger and assign that to LFO in the right click menu
5. Select Filter Cutoff as the destination
6. Increase (or decrease) the depth control
Steps 3-6 pretty much shown here (using latest version, Original GUI):

I should clarify the screenshot I included was pre-routing. It would have made more sense for me to include one of what I actually did. That was a bit silly of me, sorry.
I have followed your directions and I'm much closer however I notice this generates a Turing style random as opposed to true S&H. Is this the best I can hope for?

Some new sounds for Repro1, no external fx plug-ins were used.

Not really, no.
That's why so many people spent so much when Native Instruments had their big sale on u-he 2 or 3 years ago (to help continue funding u-he as they worked primarily on Zebra 3).
