Yes it's not possible. I thought maybe it's fully functional for some period of time.

Can Markus confirms that? I installed the Icarus 2 demo thinking I could use it to participate to the demo contest with it.

Also, the Icarus 2 demo installed on top of my full version of Icarus 1, and I now have only a demo of Icarus 2. What a mess.

If you are on pc and want to test the v2 demo while keeping v1.6 full select a directory like c:/icarus2test as location

If you are on mac you need to run the installer of v1.6 again do downgrade from v2

The GUI can be displayed with 12 different sizes and three scales: Small, normal or huge. It is also possible to hide parts of the interface, like the keyboard, when you don't need it. The customize-able interface allows you to select your favorite color from 26 schemes

could someone show me a tutorial where there's a detailed description how can I set icarus in a way that osc1 use the arp and osc2 and osc3 not? i know i should set the arp to dual layer mode, and should enter some settings in the mod matrix. I have found a factory preset for sample, but don't understand exactly why it's set that way...

There is a patch which you could use as a template:
Category: Apreggiator
Dual layer arp 1

How to set it up:

- Switch on the arp
- Set it to 'Dual Layer' on the top section
- Switch on OSC1 and 2
- Set OSC1 and OSC2 volume to 0

In the Matrix:
Source: Key Split high, Target: Volume1
Source: Key Split low, Target: Volume2
