I have friends who live near Brisbane. A little clearer there, I hope.

Brisvegas was bad a few weeks ago but the fires have moved south since then. Canberra is copping it at the moment.

Hello.exponent1 wrote: Mon Jan 06, 2020 11:13 amHi Edouard and others, can you please verify or confirm this behavior/feature please?exponent1 wrote: Mon Jan 06, 2020 6:17 am So a friend was inquiring about the microtuning capabilities of Pigments. I tested with a 31-edo Scala tuning but seems like the synth only supports upto 12 notes per octave for the alternate tunings and not more. What I mean is, when I used a 31-edo tuning, Pigments would just jump octaves instead of continuing from the 12th note onward and playing the 13th note in the 31-not scale. Or maybe I'm doing it wrong. Can any one else please test this out and confirm?
It's a bug, we are looking into this and hope to be able to fix this soon.
Kind regards
Edouard

Doesnt work in loop mode?Stefken wrote: Mon Jan 06, 2020 4:36 pmJust hook it up with a modulator and there ye go....cnt wrote: Mon Jan 06, 2020 3:13 pm Bought Pigments 2 without demoing it. It sounds really good, but I do miss being able to modulate Start/End position in loopmode in sample/granular playback. Or did I miss anything? Its disappointing for me personally since I also own Padshop 2 already, which can not do this either...

they need to carry some cash around in case they get in a jam

No it appears that the loop positions are not modulatable.cnt wrote: Wed Jan 08, 2020 5:28 pmDoesnt work in loop mode?Stefken wrote: Mon Jan 06, 2020 4:36 pmJust hook it up with a modulator and there ye go....cnt wrote: Mon Jan 06, 2020 3:13 pm Bought Pigments 2 without demoing it. Yeah I bought it entirely for the granular as well. I have zero interest in the other oscillators of this synth, even after spending some time trying to like them. At the sale price it’s quite reasonably priced just for a granular synth with a few nice tricks.Vortifex wrote: Wed Jan 08, 2020 5:46 pm Fired up The Mangle, decided I liked Pigments' granular section better, and caved in and bought it for £58. Good value I think.
