Falcon is pretty cool, expensive yeah, but it offers a lot of value. Sample manipulation is just one thing.
I suppose Kontakt might do the job as well, but not nearly as easily ime. I cant think of anything else
that would combine all you're asking in a single plugin.
I bought it at release so it was quite a bit cheaper, but they do have sales. Another option is Mach 5 from
Motu, which is nearly the same as falcon, but made by Motu, not quite the same but pretty close. Falcon
was originally Mach 5 developed for Motu by UVI, I guess. Sometimes you can find it for sale cheap.
I have used it though, and prefer Falcon hands down.
