Chopin's Nocturne in E Flat Major, Op. 9, No. 2, particularly at the time-stamped spot (about 57 seconds in):
This reminds me of Adele's "Make You Feel My Love," especially starting at about 31 seconds in:
Also, have you seen "I Hate Pachelbel"? It makes me laugh:

I don't hear any of Never Say Never in that Elastica song but I do hear a lot of Wire's Three Girl Rhumba, and I'm not the only one, apparently -harryupbabble wrote: Sat Jan 11, 2020 10:39 pm Do you have examples of songs that reminds you of other songs? Well, whatcha waitin fer pudnuh? Do share.
Okay so, here's Elastica's Connection and Romeo Void's Never Say Never.
Is it theft or inspiration? Or something else? Or are my ears totally useless?

When I first heard this I thought it was a cover, the chords and melody in the chorus sounds just like something else, but I can't put my finger on it. But I'm thinking of some '80s soft rock song in the style of Icehouse or Steve Winwood.

Actually that reminds me of one of the movements of "White Man Sleeps" by Kevin Volans

I think..
That is a mash up of at least two 80s tracks that I dont quite know..
Various bits of that are so familiar..
MJ? Prince?
I cant get it.

That's because I didn't bother to listen to it, sorry. It looks awful and if it sound like Michael Jackson, it's likely to sound awful, too.

heard this today. it sounded like maybe peter gabriel to me. i'm not sure which peter gabriel song though. red rain, maybe.
not even close? i think supersmall cloth moths are living in my ears, laying eggs or whatever. led zeppelin's music doesn't seem to evacuate them.

Was just coming to say this. It’s not the only Wire tune Elastica jacked either - same deal with the choruses of Elastica’s Line Up and Wire’s I am the Fly.BONES wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2020 3:16 amI don't hear any of Never Say Never in that Elastica song but I do hear a lot of Wire's Three Girl Rhumba, and I'm not the only one, apparently -harryupbabble wrote: Sat Jan 11, 2020 10:39 pm Do you have examples of songs that reminds you of other songs?
