So confused by the addition of toolbox free in this. It's essentially just PhasePlant then.

Well, PP plus the 6 free snap-ins, which is plenty to be getting on with. I've got a few paid for Snap-ins - Faturator, Trance gate and a couple of others - but the synth is pretty self-contained and you can always add effects outside the synth anyway.
NOVAkILL : Legion GO, AMD Z1x, 16GB RAM, Win11 | Audient EVO 8 | Lumi Keys | Studio Pro 8
Korg Odyssey, bx-oberhausen, Proxima, PolyMax, GR8, JP6K, Union, Atomika,
Invader 2, Flow Motion, Olga, TRK 01, Thorn, Spire, VG Iron

Seems like a pretty straight forward business decision: Experimentation with different deals and price points before steeper discounts are offered as the product ages.

Yeah I get that and there’s certainly lots there. My point is that is seems odd to add a free product to a paid product in order to make a bundle.

Who is reading that thinking “wow, I get the free thing too?”

Your assuming everyone knows about Snap-Ins, which seems unlikely to me. This way they get to promote two products in a single deal. It's simply good marketing.

Further proof I’m completely immune to marketing.

Clearly you're not because the best marketing is when you don't even know you're being marketed to. If you know about Snap-ins, then Kilohearts marketing has been effective.

So everything I’ve ever learned in my life is due to marketing?

Of course it is, your parents started with it by education... They told you you need food and now you eat every day... :dog:

I missed a trick, shoulda said I’m not phased by marketing. D’oh!

@Stu, any news about the update discussed in the stream where PP can host SnapHeap & MultiPass within the FX busses? It sounded almost ready before Christmas? I'm not on FB anymore so sorry if I missed the announcement, but there's nothing on the website, too :)

You’d better be phased by 180 degrees to marketing...
