Anything about MUSIC but doesn't fit into the forums above.

Would you believe that music forums like ours are used as marketing tools? For example when NAMM happens, enthusiastic posts and expectations about new gear and software pop up in forums, and maybe some come from makers, creators and marketers of the new stuff.

Stay cool folks...

Basically the entire internet is a marketing tool. That's why there are advertisements everywhere.

Getting into the music business in the first place is shooting yourself in the foot when it comes to earning potential. As consumers are we really going to complain when companies try to market and sell product when their goal is to help artists create? Just don't succumb to the marketing if you cant afford to ;)

Our IK-created posts absolutely come from us about our products and we're not hiding that fact in any way. There's no reason to use sock puppets or similar when you put your company affiliation clearly in your username, information, etc.
