Maybe whoever decided to put a 4-channel PCM audio chip in the Amiga should get a mention?

Good call. I loved the amiga, and for the time it was a very capable music machine.

I know I keep going waaaaaaay back on you Quincy. But Laser Discs predates CD's by 5-6 years. Chuck Statler, who did Devo's first 'movies' intended them to be on the first Laser Disc releases. (Turned out Devo did finally do a demo Laser Disc for Pioneer years later that encompassed all their videos.

Just in case you want to give LD's a quick mention before CD's?
