Best one at the moment is D16 Group Tekturon partly because it was on sale. ;)

My favourite delay plugins in alphabetical order:

Audiority Echoes T7E mkII
Audiority PlexiTape
D16 Repeater
D16 Tekturon
Native Instruments Replika XT

Together these provide lots of different flavours. The only delay I'm still hoping for is a convincing oil can delay, but I understand that real oil can delays in good working condition are rare, so making a faithful emulation probably isn't that easy.

many of the delay plugins i have are mentioned but not... PSP StompDelay, great delay...
(and of course replika xt, sigmund, the arturia's, and yes! sandman pro. to mention a few. the echo, not a plugin, a device only for ableton i use also.)

I don't know how to pick just one from the following three, all of which I think incredibly highly of, but for slightly different reasons:

1. Valhalla Delay - best for authentic vintage sound
2. Replika-XT - best for all-purpose swiss-army-delay / configurability
3. Sandman Pro - best for sound design / modulation

I usually don’t take a deep dive when it comes to delay and for that I‘m very happy too with Valhalla Delay. Nice company to support by the way.

Replika XT still my favorite. And now that NI has released Raum, it's quickly becoming my favorite reverb as well... really high quality plugins.

These are the features most important to me in a delay:

*Intuitive User Interface (most important)
*Separate Feedback Controls for Left and Right (to set the same decay length for different delay times)
*Cross Feedback (stereo spread, ping pong)
*Lowpass and Highpass Filters (should be in feedback loop)
*Saturation (should be in feedback loop)
*Delay Time and Filter Modulation
*Delay Time Offset
*Ducker
*Pitch Shift
*Reverse

Delays I have found that have the most of these features:

Hy-Delay4
Tritik TkDelay

My top ten favorite delays that don’t have all of those features but have a unique sound, or special abilities, that set them apart:

1. Audiority PlexiTape
2. Arturia Delays
3. Tal-Dub-X
4. Valhalla Delay
5. Audiority Echoes
6. Nembrini Delay3000
7. Sandman Pro
8. Fabfilter Timeless 2
9. NI Replika XT
10. Soundtoys Echoboy

Got Replika free back then when they've introduced it. Since then it's the most used one on my side. Followed by UVI relayer.
