I am a registered user of Forte v4.3. I was off line for about 6 months and have just discovered Brainspawn's demise. Wow. Does anyone have a copy of the last version 4.5 for download. I'm just sick that I missed the opportunity in March to download it. Thanks in advance.

No, sorry. Only have the latest/last version archived after not having any problems with it.
Have you tried emailing Mike?

No, I'm not going to bother Mike unless i absolutely have to. I've had 4.2.7 running all day without a hitch, so i think I'll just stick with that 1. I'm running an older laptop on win 10 that doesn't support win 10. The older forte version seems more stable, and that's really all i want. Thx for checking!

just saw these posts. looks like I have 4.2.7
I could not get the 64 bit version to work.
Is there any chance the source code will be placed in the public domain?
anyone has suggestion for replacement to Forte?
thanks, Henri

I have the same problem, thanks to Mike i have a licensed version of forte 3. (I had a hard drive breakdown and lost all info on login and license, but he helped me out and gave me acopy of forte3)...But totally missed out on brainspawn "closeing shop". i was deep into building up my new stagerig and tried to log in to fortes homepage to buy the "premiumversion" of the software for it.
I really want to go on with forte as my trustworthy "partner" on stage but would very much like to get hold of the latest software version.
If that is not possible, i'll have to stick with version 3.
Anybody who has any suggestions ?

Can anybody help? I had the producer version 4.5 on my older system and I forgot to save the exe file for my new Threadripper system. Does anybody have a copy of the 4.5 64 bit version? I switched to gig performer for a year but it's not working for me. Not happy with the amount of ram it requires. My last project uses 80 gb ram because I have to duplicate each rackspace because of the multiple splits (cannot do it with variations because there is no patch persist and the stuck notes - predictive loading is a nightmare for my kind of template). Within a year or less, I think Camelot Pro might be the best alternative for me. Going to try Cantabile as well!

PM me.
I have the latest installers if you already have a license key.

I also never found a suitable/reliable replacement...

Hi Glissandoman,

What version of Gig Performer are you running? Are you on version 3 and on the latest build? If you are using a variation, patch persist is not necessary as the same instruments are loaded in the rackspace. Patch persist is only necessary if you are going into a brand new rackspace and want to transition smoothly holding down sounds from the rackspace you are while loading up a new one. Give ILIO's technical support a call and we can take a look at your setup and see if it can be more streamlined. 80 GB seems very very high. ILIO is Deskew's (Gig Performers) Distributor. Their contact information is on their website which is www.ilio.com.

I'm on gig performer 3.6, Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 3960x, 128 gb ram and pcie4 ssd. My set up requires patch persist for the kind of playing I'm doing. I tried using variations but having different keyboard splits in each variation (using note range slider on the rackspace) I would get stuck notes from variation to variation (that's why I have to duplicate the same rackspace). Also, after needing 10 different key splits and transpositions it sort of became a hassle having to go from midi in block to the next. Timewise, it's quicker with Camelot pro and forte as well Cantabile. Don't get me wrong, it's a great program but it doesn't serve my purpose yet. I just want to perform and not spend time creating racks and beautiful graphics. I use lots of Spitfire sound libraries as well many intensive plugins for orchestral mockups. If in the future, a rackspace works like a scene works in Cantabile, Forte or Camelot that will be a game changer. Of course, for a less intense gig, I will use gig performer.
