Nearly 15 years here - well not a dry spell but since 1990 I have not composed any new music up until March this year. Since then I've churned out 25+ tracks, mostly me coming to grips with the new VST tech (i.e. mainly sketchpad stuff).

Well, that, and I'd guess you had a lot of it just building up in you over those 15 years. Is there a compositional equivalent to kaboom?
