Boxed omnisphere (with flash drive install) from resellers = £337
Download from Spectrasonics website = $499 (£383)
How is a download link more expensive than a box with a flash drive!?

Dealers are trying to remain relevant and competitive and so, often do their best to compensate for the logistics of shipping/tax/VAT...
Average price I see paid for it is around $430.00
Before those logistics. But once you add those, they can be close to what you pay for the download.
You can of course, wait until version 3, buy version 2 from one of those stores on a dump and register under the grace period.
You might be desiring it far before then though.

Check before you order.
I ordered a boxed version of Reason 11 from musicians friend.
The Box only had my license # and registration code, exactly what you'd get by downloading it.
Wasted 5 days....
