I mean the bell-type sound that was popular in other songs in 1998.

When I was very young I liked this bell riff on the Scooter, 666 and Blumchen tracks and now I would like to use in my tracks the same or one that sounds like the original one.

Sounds like a General MIDI type sound. Would bet it’s an Agogo or gamelan type preset. Maybe a JV-2080 given those songs are from 1998.

Bells are best done using FM synthesis. Dexed is free and has presets that sound like that.

Hey guys. I found two presets in Zebra (HS Innocence and HS Trash Toy) that are a little similar but the effect still doesn't satisfy me.
Anyone have other suggestions?

What is the name of this preset? I downloaded Dexed but I did not find a similar preset that would sound similar.

I found information in FL Studio in midi file Scooter - How Much Is The Fish that this sound is agogo.

It’s probably the Agogo preset on a JV-2080 or something like that.

For me it sounds pretty much like Yamaha. They´re also the Gods of FM.

If I were you I´d take my Sampler and revisit those long forgotten WAV-Graveyards on my HD where thousands of Samples have been dumped in Categorys like Bell, Agogo, Cow and so on ...
