Guy's I bought the best air pods, but still i am afraid that i am gonna break them? Question: How to save them??

The only thing with wanting to try some of these other brands that I would normally shy away from is the fact that it's not free, even if it is cheap. So, then I end up with a pair, or pairs, that I don't want to use, and they end up collecting dust. On the other hand though, I have gotten better at selling off what I don't use or like, and more of the sellers offer good return policies. I hate to return things when they're not broken. But, I also think that if something just doesn't live up to expectations, that's a valid reason for returning things too.
