I am still puzzled...
I hope my new love with Bitwig will stay...

I keep hearing about Opcode Studio Vision, maybe I'll find a way to try it one day.

Didn't it fall by the wayside when Sony Acid started to become popular?
Signatures are so early 2000s.

No it fell aside when Gibson acquired Opcode and simply did not support it anymore. You would need a really old Mac running OS 9 to try it out. I guess it would be a nightmare if you put it on a 4K screen...;-)
Back then the protection was on floppy disks...
I switched to Max/MSP back then, David Zicarelli could get the rights off during that transition from Opcode to Gibson and founded Cycling74... The first prototypes of Live had been done in Max...

Man, Studio Vision was so cool for its time. Nobody has really managed to catch up to them, and all we have left from that era's workflow competition is Digital Performer.

SVP was king though.

Not sure if you are serious or not.
Gibson bought Opcode, fired everyone and then wanted to sue them.
It died around 1999.
I still have an old Power Tower Pro that I have it installed on and I fire up maybe once every four months to see if it still works. :)
