Hi all, my entry
https://soundcloud.com/zarf/zarf-undergy
42 Syncla-xb in Ableton
About 30+ Eq8 and about 30+ Compressors
Bunch of utilities (for volume automation and mono-making)
Some midi FX in Ableton inc m4L LFO and Envelope
3 Reverbs, 3 delays
1 OTT, 1 LoudMax, 1 toTape
Awkard, clunky synth with some lovely touches and some very interesting and cool sounds. Good luck all who braved it!

I rather enjoyed this synth. Once I made the UI less eyestrain-inducing and more purple, I found that it produced many lovely sounds.
I didn't try to add more modulation into it than it had... All automation items were wide movements of filter, pan, and volume.
https://soundcloud.com/anotherbenjamin/ ... not-gloomy
Produced in Reaper 6 with
24 instances of Syncla-x
(some of these are much more prominent than others)
7 instances of Cocoa Delay
(arguably my heaviest use of FX in the last several OSC rounds)
6 instances of ReaEQ
(high-passing my cymbals and noise, plus mixing for the kick and bass)
6 instances of PurestGain
2 instances of GClip
1 instance of ReaComp
1 instance of Limiter No6
1 instance of Dragonfly Room
(and some MIDI note filters and audio analysis tools as per usual)
If you would like to see my project files, don't hesitate to ask! I am happy to share.

Give me like 5 minutes here please, a sudden sustain pedal anomaly is messing with my render. Sorry!

Great synth!
The trick is to jusssst make out the knob position if you look really closely because it's such a small indicator, and accept that it's like a premium u-he synth in how it often plays random notes to test your mettle.

Submission, sorry about that, stupid Reaper randomly recorded a sustain somewhere so I had to work around it.
This synth was fun after I sort of got the hang of it. Unfortunately job has been wringing a lot of me so time was completely limited. I wanted to put up an entry since it's been so long. You're looking at about three hours of work .. I need more excuses to work on my bossanova/elevator music chops.

8 instances, Reaper 6.
Tal Reverb 3
IIEQ
Volume Adjustment (reaper)
TDR Nova
TDR Kotelnikov

Panagement

Hello everyone! I don't know much about the competition's time zones... Can someone please tell me how many hours are left until the end of the application process at this time?

It's already 1 hour past the deadline.

Well... Again, my lack of understanding led to a disaster, as I thought I had another 5 hours left. In any case, I post my track, since a lot of time and effort was invested in it, and I ask the respected organizers to accept it in the voting table.

For some reason, I thought that updating the OSC site to a new synthesizer is the official end time of the contest. Good thing I thought to ask just in case. Thank you exponent1 for your prompt response, which may have saved my track from disqualification (or not), but in any case, thank you!

13 entries? THIRTEEN? Wow...I mean, that's the lowest number I'm aware of. But, but...but... why?
Anyway, easy voting session and I shall enjoy your tracks now...

As the competition didn't start until the afternoon of the 1st, at least in Europe I'm sure there should be some discretionexponent1 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2020 9:05 amIt's already 1 hour past the deadline.

Lucky 13
I would have played, it just appears that my well seasoned computer doesn't like the new synthedit, although I've installed all requirements and then some.
Next up ToneZ, doesn't save presets when you close the daw or install upon reopening and crashed a few times on higher notes, Yay for One, and, for Synth, and, for challenge
That's all so far, should probably post on other thread
Good luck to all the OSC'ers

Voted! And Yes... when there were so many participants, maybe at the dawn of the OSC In any case, the quality of the tracks is not affected, and 4 of the 13 I downloaded myself to listen more often (and for me, this is a lot for one OSC!), so I'm happy!

Yeah, isn't it amazing, the quality of the tracks?! I had to adjust some down only to make room for the 5th I couldn't resist stepping just this bit higher than the others, but dang... they're all 4s and 5s, really. The kid that made the synth should be so darn proud, really. Few free vsts accomplish to let everyone create great sounding tracks and they all do!
