What if I told you it doesn't matter which DAW you use and that you only need one?
It's not the quality of audio, it's the quality of production that matters.

I never liked the idea of spending money for three cordless hand drills either.

Depends.. If you have 3 DAWs doing the same thing differently or if you have Fruityloops, tony the tiger and rice crispies DAW and every DAW would be an exact copy of FLS. Then there'd be no point.burnt circuit wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2020 4:32 pm I never liked the idea of spending money for three cordless hand drills either.

Some people enjoy the juggling of DAWs too much, because of the never-ending tinkering, instead of working with constrained creativity and a streamlined production environment that gets the job done.Distorted Horizon wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2020 5:40 pmDepends.. Finding ways to do what other DAWs can do without spending the money for perpetual updates is part of the fun and learning processes of becoming an official audio nerd/bedroom producer.
But, let's face it, some people can afford to buy 3 automobiles and drive each of them a little bit and get to the same destination of going from A to B with only 1 automobile.
