Try upgrading from Windows 7 to Mac OS instead.
It's not the quality of audio, it's the quality of production that matters.

Saw plenty, also Pro Tools 8/9, they have racks of old gear tho and I understand them, they choose to loose few newer plugins instead.

Yeah, because FL20+ doesn't crash on Windows 10 ever...

I've used Cubase for years (on v.10 now) and despite it's extensive functions the interface gives me a headache, it just looks weird, dated and uneven, horrible fonts etc, the window implementation feels half-assed and overall Cubase can feel sluggish when clicking on GUI elements or waiting for things to load.
In comparison, FL Studio is far easier on the eyes, modern, uncluttered and snappy.
I've rebuilt some Cubase projects in FLS and it always felt like a breath of fresh air to switch.
FLS feels and operates like a unified piece of software (much like Ableton) instead of a collection of cobbled together bits and pieces from the late 90s/early 2000s.
I look forward to seeing what additions and improvements Image-line will be making to it in the coming years and all for free.
I agree the editing of audio on the playlist needs some work.
Am I in the wrong thread?

"Why you left FL Studio?"
You be the judge.
