The 4060 is not exactly an everyday synth but it can be inspiring, or at least fun
I should dig mine back out again.

Got my (second) FM Aid today and spent a couple hours exploring and re-acquainting myself with it. Excellent at sorta-fake-but-mathematically-might-as-well-be-real phase modulation tricks and almost-but-not-quite wavefolding, but I discovered it's also a crazy waveshaper for stuff like Rings.

Mosky Spring Reverb incoming. How could I resist a $35 spring reverb pedal? It's a blatant clone of the Malekko spring reverb, pink micro pedal with barcode logo and everything.
Unless it is absolutely terrible, and maybe even if it is (or especially if it is?) it's going into some feedback patches for sure.

...and a Catalinbread Adineko, since my Particle just sold.
It was a close decision between that and the Black Fountain delay, since they were in the same price range, but I think Adineko sounds a bit more unique with more of an ambient, swirly, dizzying vibe to it.

I own that one.
I don't qualify as an expert, not by far - but I like it.
I prefer my used Topanga though, I seem to like it a tiny bit better. If I had known in advance, I may have saved the money though.

Recently got a Mosky Obsessive: a mini-pedal clone of the Fulltone OCD. Love it, but it's my first of the kind. Makes my Fulltone Mas Malo mas bueno. And increases my GAS for one of those Germanium OCDs.

That's the one.
To be honest, I saw it in someone's photo with an MXR Carbon Copy captioned "instant vibe," looked it up, saw the price, and bought it without even listening to demos.

i've only used mine on guitar (but it may well end on my synth pedalboard, given the fact I already have a great spring reverb).

and welcome to a wabbit warren ...
My only regret is I didn't enter earlier...
Not had so much fun and been so creative in many years.

Update to my last acquisition post...
Finally found an EMU 1820m Audiodock (at a very good £)to go with my 1212m PCI audio card... this gives me 6 more analog inputs. So I now have 16 analog inputs for my ever growing modular.. ain't that the way
Also added a Doepfer A-162 trigger delay
and just now ordered Joranalogue Add 2 Precision Adder & Averager Module
and
Dreadbox Ataxia dual env/func gen.

There's a lot of interesting hardware out there, but I keep coming back to the Summit. Pro 3? Summit! Kyra? Summit! Vermona 14? Summit! Modal 008? Tough call, but Summit wins because I can get something in addition to the Summit with all the cash needed for a 008...the only thing I'd take over the summit is a multi-channel effects unit that doesn't 8 million dollars...like the ::cough::H9000::cough::
When is someone going to design a controller that can control all the buttons, knobs, and sliders on a VSTi\VST

I might buy a Harley Benton Fusion T guitar and perhaps also the Behringer ARP 2600.
Both beautiful products for the price (although the ARP 2600 price isn't out yet, I expect it to be a maximum of $500, and probably $400 if I compare with their other synths).

An idiot on Set Theory:

I bought a couple of those and was so impressed that I bought a couple more..
Great sounding reverb and perfect for guitar....
I build a few pedals and amps,but that one's a killer...
The Mosky Blue Delay is another winner
No auto tune...
