Why you left Protracker?

I never used Protracker for longer than it took to see what the fuss was about after acquiring an Amiga 1200 a few years ago...

...but I used at least five trackers on the PC.

I left trackers overall because they’re really too geeky for me

I moved to Cakewalk/Sonar (after toying with Mastertracks). It felt easier to make music with by far, but I quickly got used to it and found myself dealing with its bugs and clunkiness... and then I abandoned PCs and went to Logic.

I still frequently look back at trackers, with fondness even, but I don’t really miss them. Using one on an Amiga 1200 for retro music studio action has been fruitless.
