Back to basics, I sometimes use Battery to do this. You can easily drag any loop to any pad and edit to your heart's content. Assign keys to trigger across the keyboard, and then just trigger each edited sample, in real time. Any sampler could probably do this, but I happen to like the ease of Battery's interface.
