What synth do you actually USE the most in your own music????

That's actually very, very impressive. It's a bit reminiscent of the Stradavarius (?) patch in Diva. It must have taken a lot of work, but still not quite up to this sort of standard, though, is it? And this is straight out of the box from something cheaper than S1.

For me it's about horses for courses. Why spend hours trying to make a synth sound like strings when you can have beautifully sampled strings in an instant? NOVO Essentials is a brilliant, amazing instrument (3 instruments, actually).

I think the entire Instruments forum only refers to soft synth plugins.

Just checked Diva, you mean the High Stradivari patch? Well, it sounds clearly different in my view, like a solo violin as the name already implies. Personally, I don't need a violin, but I am after the sound of an entire string section, which sounds magical to me

Sure, there are great samples out there, but I hate and thus don't use Kontakt, nor do I want to spend extra money when I already have a synth.

Of course, Repro has its limitations

Let’s keep in mind that it’s limitations are pretty much limited by the Prophet limitations
And with those limitations (or thanks to them), Repro is the best sounding software synth around, period

I think there is no single synth I use more than the rest, but several synths: Serum, Spire, Sylenth1 and ANA2. Hopefully soon Dune 3 as well

Or if youre like me, it’s both. Trying to socialize like a normal well adjusted person is a challenge. Going on political rants just comes so natural to me. Holding back discussion about world affairs is definitely a challenge.
