Can you use the ES-9 as a regular output, without a computer?

What happens if I'm not connected to a computer? Can I still use the headphone jack? I'm thinking of getting the ES-9, but it's a pretty big module, and I don't want to have to get another module just for the headphone part.

Awesome. Is that stable enough for live performance? I'd hate to be in the middle of a gig and the whole thing dies all of a sudden.
