Cool. I just acquired a license today. I noticed this in about 15 minutes when I tried to save a preset in my DAW. Kinda worries me that nobody has noticed this. Unless it's a known issue. But then it would worry me that it went unfixed for so long.EvilDragon wrote: Thu Feb 06, 2020 9:10 pm I can confirm that in Reaper, Maschine and FL20, too. Reported.

Whoa, hold on a second. It doesn't even save in the Legend's own presets! Change pitch bend to 48 for example, save preset, then change preset and go back. It's back to 2. Wow, not even a workaround possible.
Anyways, I'm hoping it gets solved quickly.
Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Though it seems like something that should be caught in beta testing, making sure that pitch bend range actually saves in it's own presets? On the other hand, weirdly some presets have 12 pitch bend. How did they save that? Maybe a bug with a newer version then.AnX wrote: Thu Feb 06, 2020 10:05 pm prob says more about the lack of users who actually change the PB range or use mpe

2 semitones is a very useful setting, so that might indeed be the reason.AnX wrote: Thu Feb 06, 2020 10:05 pm prob says more about the lack of users who actually change the PB range or use mpe

I can't see it being less than a couple of months and maybe as long as six if there are any serious problems that take time to fix. Gotta wait for the patch programmers to make the banks and stuff like that, too. Plus making it Retina ready for Mac seems to require a lot of work that delays everything. It would probably be out by now if it was PC only.smellypants wrote: Sat Dec 14, 2019 9:51 pmHow long after a beta starts would you say the product gets released roughy. Cheers

Works here in FL Studio and Reaper. I chose these numbers just to make it obvious:Echoes in the Attic wrote: Thu Feb 06, 2020 9:00 pm Has anyone noticed that the Legend does not store the pitch bend range in the project? It gets reset to 2.
Saves in a Patch as well. You can check by flipping through the factory presets. The value is not always 2......
Try "Brassy Glider IW" PB is set to +-4, go to the next patch "Cesar Strings KS" PB is set to +-2 go to the next patch "Christmas KS" PB is set to +-12 and so on........
Try this patch. I set it to +4 -10 just to make sure it's remembered correctly. Each time I load the patch it's still set to +4 -10. When I save it in an FL Studio and Reaper project it recalls perfectly.

Yeah like I said above, I've noticed there are lots of patches saved with pitch bend other than 2. It's not a matter of recalling patches that correctly saved, it's a matter of actually getting it to save with the pitch bend setting, since I can load patches from the factory lib with other than 2 PB range.Teksonik wrote: Fri Feb 07, 2020 12:30 amWorks here in FL Studio. It has been confirmed not to save in Reaper, Maschine and FL20 by EvilDragon. I wonder why it saved for you in FL? Windows/Mac difference maybe? I've tested Bitwig and Ableton on Windows.

I just tested again in both FL Studio and Reaper (Windows 10 64 bit, DAWs and Plugin 64 bit). In both the PB value is recalled perfectly in a Project. Don't know what to tell you but I've tested it several times now....
EDIT: Just tested in a Cakewalk by Bandlab project. PB Values are recalled perfectly.

Here's the Test Projects for FL Studio and Reaper. I just tested again and both load fine with the PB values +4-10 as saved.

Ok, so the obvious question: Are you on Legend 1.30 (latest)?

Yes so obvious I downloaded and installed the latest version of The Legend from my account and ran the tests again even though I knew I already had the latest version installed just to be sure.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Fri Feb 07, 2020 1:58 am Ok, so the obvious question: Are you on Legend 1.30 (latest)?
Like I said I don't know what to tell you but I've run the tests over and over and each time PB recall works perfectly. Sorry but that's the results here.
I am running the AVX version as Admin so maybe that's the difference.

I tested in Cakewalk by Bandlab as well. Doesn't recall the pitch bend settings there for me either. Windows 10.
Strange, I guess it's something specific to our systems since EvilDragon has had the same experience as me.

I can't imagine what it could be but we must be doing something different. Ok here's the Cakewalk Project. I just tried it five more times and each time the PB Range loads as saved (+4-10).
See if it loads for you.

Yes it loaded as +4 -10 for me. But I never doubted that I would be able to load patches that successfully saved on your system. The saving is the issue.
EvilDragon and I both reported it so hopefully Synapse can troubleshoot.
It makes a lot more sense that it's not universal across all systems, or else it probably would have been caught sooner.

Ok I figured it out and probably why no one caught it....Values up to +-23 will load fine but values of 24 and over will not.
Try that and see if you can reproduce it. Try with values less than 24 and see if they recall.
I have never needed a two octave or more pitch bend and I guess I'm not alone. Normally +- 12 semitones is the most I need. A four octave bend makes no sense to me but hey to each his own. I'll report my findings as well.
