With regard to bit-bridging,I have Mixcraft 8 and the built-in bit-bridge is excellent...as I have NEVER had an issue with ANY of my plugins(& I have used countless 32-bit plug-ins in it.)LeVzi wrote: Thu Feb 06, 2020 7:33 amBit late to the party considering this was announced a long time ago, as times changed, DAW's do not support 32bit plugins anymore and the bridging software isn't 100% reliable. I would like to buy this, but I cannot use it, so why should I bother. jbridge has stopped working for me, and i'm not purchasing new bridging software just for this. It stops being 1 Euro then.
Perhaps it is a bit silly to buy a new DAW to accomodate a new 32 bit synth, but then...Mixcraft is an incredible value,as it is rock solid, supports video and it's only $75(Acoustica even has their own payment plan,if you are strapped for cash.)Acoustica is on their 9th version now...definitely worth considering,I think.

Yeah, I do believe you're right about that.vertibration wrote: Fri Feb 07, 2020 1:35 pm its 2020, there's no way this guy is releasing this plugin, having made a nice elaborate video for hype, and then release it as 32 bit only. This is the stupidest thing to entertain

I think it has a lot of really, really intuitive features. I always thought Serum should have Cthulu built in, as a future update. Seeing how this can do chords is really cool. Subtractive, FM, Phase Distortion, MultiWave and Rom Synthesis. All that is great. Split layering, controlling with your voice, the algorithm for randomization of parameters, and I dig the skins.taqsim wrote: Fri Feb 07, 2020 6:23 pm It's going to be interesting to see how this resonates, and how they're going to shift the market
The way I think it shapes the market will all depend on how well its being used by big artists. Lets take Noisia for example (while they are still together), and they start making crazy stuff with it. Then all the youtube tutorial guys come out with "how to make a DnB reese with Genesis pro" video.....Then everyone starts trying to emulate those techniques. This is just an example, not saying this would happen for sure, but Im just saying for this to really blast off, its gotta do it like Serum. Serum kinda changed everything. Made things super easy to basically make any sound you ever wanted with ease. For it to shift the market, people need to see and hear others doing crazy stuff with it. Unfortunately, this seems to be the formula today, rather than people not giving a crap, and just focusing on making their own sounds

I went through the thread and found so much ego here
First of all even if he partially worked all these years in this Synth, it's a hardwork try to appreciate it whether it's 32 or 64, win or Mac, marketing or supporting producer. I don't see what benefit a virtual Synth will get by being 64 bit, it will never use 4 gb of RAM unless your DAW is stuck in 64 bit, I use 32 bit reaper and reaper goes both way with plugin loading
1 Euro is amazingly cheap, if it works, cool ! if it has 100's of presets, more cool ! I dont care if it gets updated or comes with sound pack later, why bothering on his marketing strategies, if the Synth is stable and has new features (this one has a ton) that's it, its going to stay
If it's made with Synthedit, remember the late H.G fortune synths, it was so different/unique and tons of features , and I see Genesis pro on same level, it's rich in features and definitely seems different/unique from other major synths available in currect market.
I think he's super rich to make necessary arrangements to make it 64 bit vst and Mac or protools ready, even might have employed good programmers who can convert/create pure codes from scratch, and if not, it's ok, be it just 32 bit as detectives here found out, and others who are living in 2020 with hatred to 32 bit plugins, and is egoistically boasting/roasting, come on ain't this a developer/producer friendly forum ?
For just 3 dollars I have bought AIR Hybrid 3, Vaccum pro, Xpand2 and if this is really 1€, it certainly will be another cheap but quality crown of music softwares, but again see the similarity ? AiR used to have monopoly in protools era, they have made big bucks, now they can sell its for 1 , I think it's the same with Ummet
As for me am amazed with the intelligent chord mode, cause most productions I am lazy to plug the MIDI keyboard and now can do crazy chords with just PC keyboard

If each of his 2.2 million subscribers buys it at 1 EUR, then there's a cool 2.2 million euros right there.
My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Unify = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.
