Like kv331 said, it's actually a low number. It's more likely 30k and up. Just to give you an idea, a simple effect would be 10k. Developers aren't cheap, they are in demand and if they want they can work for companies that pay 300$ per hour.recursive one wrote: Tue Feb 11, 2020 8:16 am 20-25k![]()
I realize it must be an extremely laborious effort, but that price... Was it ever actually done in human history?

Dont mind 32 bit, just imported genesis cm into pluginguru's unify to try it out. Worked. Played genesis. Unify generates automately a jbridge. Afaik works with macos too. Unify with intro offer at the Moment.

So Genesis Pro will be available next week then? I haven't seen any indication online, that suggests this is the case...Syngularity wrote: Tue Feb 11, 2020 7:07 pm Can‘t wait for next week. I‘m so much looking forward to play Genesis Pro within the best DAW on the planet.

Agree, I wonder though, why so much marketing effort if it's going to be Windows 32-bit. I would have done a low profile launch just to avoid the complaints of mac users and windows users who only uses 64-bit.chk071 wrote: Tue Feb 11, 2020 10:54 pm The marketing and professionality of the presentation in those videos is already better than what 99 % of companies in this business have to offer.![]()
In any case, the guy is multi-talented for sure.

Could someone explain the rationale behind releasing a 32 bit only version? Because a 64 bit version is tremendously more difficult to code and hence requires more time (and money)?

The dev environment he Ummet used only compiles to 32bit.Ohlson_M wrote: Wed Feb 12, 2020 7:35 am Could someone explain the rationale behind releasing a 32 bit only version? Because a 64 bit version is tremendously more difficult to code and hence requires more time (and money)?

May I summarize a few ways to use this synth in Windows 7/8/10 64-bit:
1. Host this plugin in a 32-bit capable 64-bit DAW
Reaper
FLStudio
Bitwig
Mixcraft
....
2. Bridge the synth in any DAW via jBridge
3. Use any free or commercial 32-bit DAW
There might even exist some options to use the synth in Linux and MacOS.
