I recently downloaded the Ample Guitar M Lite v2.31 , it works fine as an application, but when I try to import it into Ableton I get an error message that says the file is corrupt? I've also redownloaded this file multiple times and still get this message? What am I doing wrong?

Are you trying to open the vst version from your vst folder?

Yes and it says the file is corrupt or it is greyed out entirely

That's odd. Did you get it from AmpleSound or elsewhere?

Yes I got it from the actual website, it is the free version so I don't know if that is the trouble, but it seems like other people get it to work just fine.
