Steve:
Thanks for the kind words! The advantage of doing a tribute rather than a cover is that I don’t have to live up to Neil’s impossibly high drumming standard. Robin Schell (the singer) naturally sounds like that. I have worked with him on other projects. He is an excellent keyboard player as well.
I am looking forward to LinnDrum II!

Yes, and it has potential. There are two issues for me. First, there are only four pads. Second, if you are pressing on a given pad it will not let you play another note. They have a software fix for the second issue that you can run on the computer. Hopefully, it will be implemented in the device through a firmware update.

Here is the final version of Time Machine (Open Road Ahead) featuring the LinnStrument on most of the lead synths. The official audio release is coming soon.

Cool! Are you playing LinnStrument on the guitar solo at 3:30?

Thank you! That is real guitar played by my brother. I would love to find a sound like that for the LinnStrument.

Your brother plays very well! No need to replace him with LinnStrument.

My brother Dan is an excellent guitarist - I will pass on the kind words.
The singer, Robin Schell, is in a group called Life In Digital and has a voice in the Jon Anderson range. The Yes-isms come through in his vocal arrangements as well. I have worked with him on several projects - super nice guy, and a great keyboard player with a keen interest in synthesis.

Here is a short piece using a new patch I tweaked in Pigments 2. The drums were recorded after the Pigments track using LinnStrument and IK Multimedia's MODO Drums.

Another great one, Jeremy! I’ve added it to the LinnStrument Owner Videos playlist.
