In Waveform, you can open some sort of inside midinote editing and you can edit the midi notes within the tracks midievent, without having to open the midi editor.

Very handy thing.
Is there such a thing in Cubase Artist 9?

Thanks

It's called in-place MIDI editor and apparently it is there in 10.5 Artist and I don't think it's a new feature, so should be in 9.5:
