Emphatically recommended if you're into jazz and/or related music styles! I bought it immediately at the intro half price – 32€.

Not only is it a source of great individual drum sounds with a lot of tonal adjustment opportunities – the many loops in different styles can also be 'played' in real time using the mod wheel, from simple to complex. A real treasure trove!
If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Very nice. And it has a sizzle cymbal, too.

Thanks for the feedback guys!!! :tu:
Yes the ModWheel functions are really cool, I'm sure I'll use this again in future libraries, would be great for percussions too :phones:
And the 2 crash/ride cymbals were just beautiful, I tried to sample them as well as I could. 8)
They are handmade Istanbul Agop cymbals. The Sizzle one is a Mel Lewis signature Ride.

I thought I didn't need any more drums, but this looks like FUN! And anything that increases the fun during music creation is welcome. I like how easy it is to add variations to make the loops unique.

How is it in live play on an eKit? There's no mention at all of the hi-hat mapping. Tends to make me think it's been overlooked, which puts me off. (Five variances isn't enough... my pedal has 128 different CC4 values, use them :D.)

Haven't tried it with edrums yet. It was mostly developed with and for keyboards and pad controllers.
The Hihat has one main 'closed' articulation with 19 velocity layers (they go from fully closed to slightly open for more realism) and one extra 'loose' articulation with 23 velocity layers. Plus the 'foot' and 'open' articulations. :phones:

sounds good
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

It’s the first time I heard of LDLC’s site.
Besides the Manhattan Drums I noticed a lot of other good and useful libraries on your site, great work!
