Only die-hard Acid Pro users would hate on Live.headquest wrote:Voted for Cubase, because it always crashed on me. It's all very well having amazing feature list, but if it's fjull of bugs and keeps failing on you, features are worthless.
Oh, and then there's the dongle, the excessive price tag, and the truly appaling customer service...
...by the way, you also missed Live from the list. Then again, Live is such a great program that I doubt anyone would have voted for it anyway

HI
Man, that comment about Logic must be based on you NOT being a user?
I am coming to terms with SXV3 at the moment and beleive me I have even considered buying a MAC this week!
I am not one who likes complex, but as they say - whatever host you happen to use in the first place WILL become second nature - for me LOGIC was great, I found basic midi and audio usage a breeze - but AUTOMATION was brilliant, lol SX automation is distressing me!
Every host has the potential to appear extremely YUMMY to the beholder - shit if everyones worst nightmare of a host was the only host you could use from tomorrow onwards you (and me) would be beavering away like a bunch of motherfuckers trying to learn it - bar no-one!
Flipper.

At least I was able to feel my way around Cubase & Sonar. But I deeply sorry to tell you that for myself personally...Logic sinks!!!
I tried. But I didn't care for it.

Ya'll realize the results of this poll are destined to be statistically flawed, and will mean little if nothing, right??? If so continue having fun
if not...
Realize that people are going to vote on those they've used. Since the most popular programs get the most exposure and use, they'll also take the most abuse when it comes to voting. Add in the quirks of each user's system, PC expertise, approach, etc., and the results reflect very little about the apps actual performance.
To mean something, each person polled should list the apps they've used (not just installed, and shortly abandoned because they couldn't face the learning curve) and then give a ranking within those apps.
