I have managed to sync my Acidlab Drumatix to Ableton using silent way sync to send DinSync through my Motu 828 MK2. However I can only do this when using the master output of the Drumatix. When I try to use individual outputs for each voice I can't do it as in the midi track I set up to have the silent way sync outputting through Ableton external audio effect, I can only select a single audio input. When I create multiple audio tracks to record the individual outputs they can only be routed back to the original midi track with silent way on, which only has one audio input.

Any idea how I can work round this?

I set it up using the following advice I found online:

'Create a midi track and place the trigger plugin followed by the external Effect Plugin. In the Drop down 'Audio To' route the audio to your ES-3 and in the 'Audio From" select the input that your synth is plugged into.

Create a new audio track to record the time aligned signal, in the input select the track with the plugin on, then below select post mixer.

Turn on Delay compensation.'

So although I can easily record multiple voices, they are not time aligned like the original voice I select to return to the external audio effect on the midi track with the silent way sync plugin on.

My only other option is to to sync using midi clock or sequence from Ableton, but I prefer the perfect timing of DinSync

I would suggest making more tracks with External Audio Effect devices on, with the input on each device set to one of your individual drum outputs.

I should have thought of that! Seems obvious now. Thanks for the quick reply.
